Concrete home VS the wooden home!
A lot of debate is going on with regards to the construction of timber homes. Well, apart from the flooring solutions and a number of other issues, there are various matters that need to be considered while planning to build a house. You have to be sure that which one will suit you better and only then you can jump into the execution phase.
Well, before going in to the details there are a few things that must be kept in mind that a concrete house I far more durable as compared to the timber or wooden home. Apart from this there are several things that make a concrete home a superior one. And a few of them are going to be discussed here in detail.
For instance if you build two identical buildings one is made from the concrete and the other one from wood, both are going to stay good for one year plus. Once the external weather conditions start interfering, both of the buildings are going to have certain repercussions. Like the wooden building will be having more moisture and mold issues. While the building made with concrete will stay unaffected. The concrete gives you more liberty in terms of versatility as it allows you to customize the basic design and structure of your house. This is much safer and another better part is that this is allergy free. As concrete is strictly lime, clay and stone. All of these are mixed in a certain proportion. So this signifies that in the concrete building the indoor air is cleaner to breathe in to. It does not absorb anything bad from the health perspective. In a wooden building whatever you do like smoking and cooking, it will absorb it. But this is not the case with the concrete building.
In terms of stability again the concrete one is far better real estate model. It stays for longer periods of time. While on the other hand the wooden building could shrink, crack and get broken easily.
Another major consideration according to the architects is the noise. The concrete reflects or absorbs the noise in a great proportion making the sound noise pretty reduced or at least bearable for the home owners. And in the case of wood, this clearly transmits the noise and it vibrates. No matter what you do to keep the wood sound it does not help at all.
